Sentinel Haus Institute

The independent Sentinel Haus Institute confirms that SLY vinyl floors from HWZI have healthy properties. For this purpose, they are evaluated and approved based on reports from independent testing institutes. Thanks to very low emissions, these products offer the best conditions for healthier living. We would like to make a decisive contribution to this today and also in the future.

Equipped with Isocore® technology

A high-quality closed-pore and cell-structured foamed PVC core (polyvinylchloride) serves for stability and strength, but is also lighter, less brittle and offers a better form stability and lower humidity absorbance compared to WPC products.

SLY offers an integrated IXPE sub-layer, which prevents the formation of airlifts and possible cavities. This has a positive effect on the acoustic insulation and provides a reduced impact sound (-18 dB). Furthermore the integrated IXPE mat ensures highest walking comfort and relieves the joints and spine.

SLY vinyl design floor is award-winning and can be recommended by us with a clear conscious. SLY holds the required ecological labels and most important certifications. It is also good to know that it only contains organic plasticisers and no phthalates, no formaldehyde or cadmium and it’s ecological.

SLY design floors are easy to clean

Caring for the SLY vinyl flooring is easy. Just swipe it over and your floor is like new again. Dry dirt, such as garden soil, is simply swept up or removed with the vacuum cleaner.

The innovative ceramic bead coating of SLY, consisting of microscopically small ceramic particles, ensures excellent wear resistance and easy care and maintenance. In addition, the Ultra-Fresh treatment prevents the formation of odors, mold and mildew. SLY is 100% water resistant and can be installed in all rooms of the private and commercial sector.
